O Brother Where Art Thou

This movie was very different than most movies I watch so its kind of hard to pick my favorite part. But I thought the singing was funny. Specifically when they dressed up in those beards and sang on stage. I thought it was hilarious, especially sense they were actually good and everyone was rooting them on.

Mice and Men project.

For the project I am doing a Movie trailer with Whitney Alessa and Katey. We havent started actually filming but we all have ideas that we just need to share with eachother and plan out the whole thing for it to be fabulous!

We are all busy so its hard for us to find a day all of us can work on it and get it done, it going to be hard but we can do it! Also until we get together all of us our just brainstorming ideas and then we'll just put our papers together and it will turn out perfect.

Romeo And Juliet video

This relates to Romeo and Juliet in alot of ways. First because its like there falling in love. Also the setting seems the same and how he comes to her room and there outside and he climbs through the tree.

Extra credit blog

I think that the end of the movie was stupid. Nothing exciting happened, yes they died but thats not a good ending. I think somehow Romeo should have like got the wrong poison so he didnt die and they would both be alive.

My favorite part was probably when they first met because it was interesting to see them act like they loved eachother when they had just met. Now and days people dont get married that young and we dont speak like that. Also they dressed way different and the houses and setting was just completely different.

I got this picture from photobucket and I typed in Romeo and Juliet and there was alot of actual Romeo and Juliet pictures but this one actually seemed like it in alot of ways. It always seems as Romeo is chasing after Juliet and thats how it looks in this picture like there in love. Also its in a place that would be seen in Romeo in Juliet, with the bricks it reminds me of him climbing up the tree at her house.

Romeo and Juliet Act 2

This is probably a big part of the book but I find it really odd that Romeo and Juliet see eachother and have no idea who eachother are but there automatically in love. I would understand theim being like oh my god there the hottest guy ever but not saying there in love. It all seemed to fast, it doesnt even seem like theyve even talked. Just about how they love eachother and how there going to get married and when.

I think this could possibly confuse people because most people dont get married right after meeting someone unless there drunk, which they werent. When I see a guy Im like oh my god hes hot but I dont go up to him and start making out and planning when were getting married. Especially when there families dont know and hate eachother. I think its going to end up bad whether they tell there parents before or after. I havent been in the same situation but sometimes it feels like things are moving too fast and Im suprised neither of them have noticed that.

Characters in Romeo and Juliet

Well the character I like most and stands out the most to me would be Juliet in alot of ways. To me she seems like she could be kind of stubborn in the book. But in the movie she seems very quiet and respectful, like at the party she as quiet but kind of sneaky so I don't really have certain thoughts of her yet because she has shown alot of different personalities.

Sense we have already started video and seen two versions I pictured her before very elegant with curly blonde hair like Hermia or Helena from A mid Summer nights dream. But after the movie she seemed more plain and had straight hair. So my guesses from the book weren't exactly right. I think if I met her and actually hung out with her she would seem kind of boring and jsut want to talk about boys. haha. Well Whitney is boy crazy and so is Juliet, and Juliet was sneaky with Romeo an so is Whitney. SO I think they could be alike in ways.

Premonitions

Yes, I have feelings that something is going to happen but I never do anything about it and just think about it and when it actually happens I just regret it and wish I would have done something about it to have a different outcome. I could have asked someone about my dream and got there opinion on what I should do and not do.

I ahve had more than one premonition in my life and I think its very regular and most people have had it, its just a feeling and most people would be nervous or not think its a big deal but when it actually happens you really think back and wish you could have changed alot of the things you did.

Shakespearan stories

Well I think I'll use your idea because thats the only movie that I can think of as one of those subjects which is Shes the man. In Shes the man the plot would be mistaken identity for sure. In this movie there is a girl that wants to go to a certain school and play soccer but its an all boys team so she can't.

In the movie the main actor acts like a boy with the way she talks and acts so she can play. Then she ends up liking one of the guys and he doesnt know that its the same person on the field and off. This would be mistaken identity because he doesnt know its the same person and she is just faking it.

Romeo and Juliet

After watching Shakespear I think I understand more about the types of films and books were getting into. The languages they spoke confused me at first but now I realize for an example when she said your too tall that actually meant your higher and better than me. Also by watching I can understand better whats going on and how they act. I really like these types of movies because its a different type of language and its interesting to learn more about it.

I am very excited to begin Romeo and Juliet. I've heard from alot of different people that they loved it and it was fun. Also hearing songs, watching movies, and watching plays will also help understand the book. This book has more meaning than most books and it is a love story which is something I would be interested in learning about

Worst part of Animal Farm.

I thought the fact that Mr. Jones left all of those animals at the farm by themselves was very sad. After working those animals and letting them out in the cold and then he turns his back on them and leaves them to run the farm on there own. That would be hard to maintain a farm with just animals and have enough food. I don't think that the animals deserve to be left and on there own. 

When the men came and hurt all of the animals they also killed some of them including Boxer. It was mean enough to kill Boxer but to then take him to a Glue factory instead of the hospital was crucial. Boxer was a good animal and took control and didn't deserve it. I think that its sad that the rest of the animals have to live with that now and it will be harder without him because he had things in order.

Animal Farm

So far I actually think this book is really confusing. Especially sense I don't know like anything about the Russian Revolution and all the characters relate to a person from it and I don't know any of them. I also don't really see a meaning about this book because its just turning the Russian Revolution into animals which I think is a waste of time. You might as well just read the Russian revolution.

But at the same time it kind of helps me understand the Russian Revolution more because History is boring and I don't pay attention but it makes me pay attention more. I like that it is very different and shows alot of different personalities with all of the animals which we would probably never think about animals because we don't know what they think.
